Gearing up for Eastside neighbourhood clean up.

Is there an annoying pile of rubbish that has been sitting on the street for weeks, or may be there’s some unwanted household items that you’ve been meaning to get rid of.

Between 10 am – 1pm on Saturday 27 April you can pop down to:

• Nuanua Kindergarten
• Tairangi School
• Pahina O Tokelau
• Rangikrua school

Our team will be on site to provide free rubbish bags to help you dispose of unwanted rubbish from your neighbourhood into the skip bins.

On the day, there are just a couple of things we won’t be able to accept on the day: tyres, gas bottles, whiteware or paint (as they’re a bit of a hazard in a skip bin) but we do have a repurpose station at each location for unwanted household items and furniture. 

This event is for everyone in the East, helping to make our neighbourhoods vibrant.

Thanks to our local jobs and skills hub Le Fale, Nuanua Kindergarten, Tairangi School, Pahina O Tokelau and Rangikrua school for helping to host this year’s Eastside Neighbourhood Clean Up.
