With only a couple of days until the Eastern Porirua Community Survey closes on 8 March, 140 Porirua College students recently shared their thoughts about what it’s like to live in eastern Porirua now, from how easy it is to get around, to the quality of the homes they live in as well as what they think about their local environment, spaces and places.
Their thoughts, along with others who have completed the Eastern Porirua Community Survey will help paint a picture of what it is like to live in eastern Porirua in 2024. Every 4 years, we will run the Community Survey to help track what the community thinks about eastern Porirua and how our work is making a difference over time.
Your voice makes a difference
Eastern Porirua is going through a lot of changes, and we want to make sure we get it right. Anyone over the age of 16 with strong ties to the East can complete the survey. You can still complete the survey online and we also have 5 local community researchers available to support anyone share their thoughts.
Anyone who completes the survey and includes their contact details will instantly go into the draw to win one of 20 $100 supermarket vouchers.
The survey is open until 11.59 pm on Friday 8 March. Feedback will remain anonymous, and will be published and shared in a report later this year.
Share your thoughts and ensure your voice is heard in this year’s Eastern Porirua Community Survey.
