Partial access closure: Calliope Park

To help reduce the risk of future flooding in the area, and support current
and future homes, we will be temporarily closing off a small portion of
Calliope Park, next to 12 Calliope Crescent. This will allow for new stormwater drainage to be installed.

This work will be happening over the following dates:
28 March – 30 April 2022.

This timeframe may change due to weather conditions and impacts of Covid-19.

You will still be able to access and use Calliope Park during this work.
The safest and most accessible entrance into Calliope Park will be next
to 14a Calliope Crescent while we carry out this work (pictured above).

The new drainage installation will be carried out by civil and infrastructure
experts Te Aranga in partnership with Porirua Development partners Kāinga Ora, Porirua City Council and Ngāti Toa Rangatira.
