How do we know if we’re getting it right? Eastern Porirua is going through some big changes. Every four years we will run a community survey to track how Te Rā Nui is contributing to outcomes in eastern Porirua.

Our spatial plan for eastern Porirua represents the views and aspirations of the community, stakeholders, land owners, iwi and central and local government. It sets the direction for how eastern Porirua (Rānui, Cannons Creek, Waitangirua and Ascot Park) will develop and change over the next 20 years. The Parks Landscape Plan sets out potential future projects to help us improve our public spaces, to protect te taiao (the environment) and to make our parks safer and more accessible. We created this plan by working with key stakeholders and community.
